I have exciting news to share: You can now read I’m Not Triggered, You’re an Asshole! in the new Substack app for iPhone.
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder comes in all forms and it doesn’t come from only war trauma. Trauma is subjective within each of our lives, stories and experiences. I’ll explore the ways in which PTSD can intrude and how to manage and cope with it through research, personal stories, history, and experiences.
According to the United States Veterans Affairs department, roughly 6% of people will suffer from PTSD in a given year, on average. That’s 15 million people! This newsletter seeks to explore (and possibly answer) some complex questions about PTSD. Join me as I learn more about something I’ve suffered from for more than 17 years (along with millions of others) and what we can do about this insidious, yet complex thing.
I’m Not Triggered is a newsletter exploring the affects of PTSD and what we can do about it.
Note: I am not a doctor of any sort. All the advice and entertainment found here should be taken with some degree of curiosity rather than blind faith. If you think you suffer from PTSD, please find a qualified and certified professional who can diagnose and help you.
Thanks for reading I’m Not Triggered, You’re an Asshole! This post is free, so feel free to share it with your friends.
